WineRoads® TV Series
WineRoads® is a weekly half-hour television series that explores the historical and cultural ties that bind the wines and foods of the world to our contemporary lifestyle.
 Hosts Steve Andrews and Sally James, an award-winning Australian chef, author and educator, guide the audience on adventures to the world’s most exciting destinations for wine, food and travel, exploring the pleasures, the history and culture, while offering an in-depth view that’s as entertaining as it is educational. Starting from their home base in California’s Napa Valley—home to more than 260 wineries—Andrews and James explore “destination wine regions” around California and the United States. Next, they venture overseas to Australia, France, Italy, Chile, Portugal — and wherever the WineRoads lead!
Episode Format
In each half-hour episode, Andrews and James "demystify" thewine experience to make it more fun and accessible to the television audience. Each half-hour is divided into three segments of exploration: Cellar Stories, Food Philes and Travel Tales—focusing on these highlighted elements in each destination.
From the crafting of fine vintages to simple home strategies for pairing wines with food, to a new and exciting travel locale, WineRoads® presents the winemakers, the chefs, local purveyors, hoteliers and historians that make each weekly adventure a complete armchair travel experience. ~
